In an effort to automate and streamline their business as much as possible, Chicago-based real estate firm Steele Consulting, Inc. use an agile development philosophy to continually add new modular systems to their processes. One of the major components is their Aspire platform, a web portal that allows their clients to stay up-to-date on their contracts and projects in real time.
Salesforce, a cloud-based CRM, is the central data hub for SCG. Aspire pushes and pulls data to and from Salesforce via their API. Using this technology, new clients are able to sign in via the Whatasteele.com website and fill out all required information, a process that used to be painstakingly manual for the SCG team. Now, clients essentially onboard themselves, edit their own contact information, and can check-in on the status of their project without having to make a phone call or send an email.
This may sound pedestrian for today’s technology, but CRM platforms typically don’t offer client-side access. Thus, integrating with Salesforce to give their client’s access to project information is a huge plus for SCG. As they expand their offerings in the real estate space, their clients can access a single customized portal and get everything they need at the click of a button or the tap of a finger.
